Budget in good standing 

estimated  cost of banquet $2500.  Booster club will pay for each swimmer's meal; other family members cost $18.00 per person. 

Mrs. Bogusch needs to know where seniors are going to college before banquet to create senior displays. 

Responsibilities for banquet:

Corinne and Kara will take care of

1. Cakes

2. Decorations

3. Centerpieces for the tables.

D'Anna will get balloons

D'Anna & Debbie will take care of greeting/ check in table.

Ticket info will be sent out after spring break. Flyer will have tear off that can be returned to pre-purchase tickets and provide head count of how many are coming.  Tickets must be bought in advance, no ticket sales at door. All attending will check in and have name on list to receive a ticket for food. If no food is desired, people can come watch for free, but that number needs to be included in head count in advance so there are appropriate number of seats. 

Parents of seniors are encouraged to attend next Booster meeting (April 3rd) so that they can stay after a few minutes to ensure all plans are accounted for. 

Water Polo tryouts this Thur. -20 will make the team

First tournament this Friday 03/10/17 at Micki Krebsbach pool

Girls: Fri 5;45 p.m. Sat. 8:00 a..m. 

Boys: Sat.  8:45a.m. & 1:15 p,m,

Top 8 score, Top 6 advance to Regions

Timed Finals -no prelims

Only A relays

Thurs 1-26,  District dinner at the Chin home

2. Regional Meet ( 1 week later) Feb. 3 & 4.  Rockwell, Tx.  

Charter Bus will leave Thur. during the day.  55 seats, 49 kids, Competitors, alternates, and Managers will  travel. ( McNeil and Round Rock teams most likely too big to travel together this year. )

Prelims begin at 1100 Friday 2/3.   24 swimmers-  only to 16 in finals,  A final & B final , 1 & 2 from A final advance to State  

Discussion of how to take care of snack bags and posters for Regionals due to possibility that we will share a bus with a team other than Round Rock.  Foss will check with the other teams’ coach to see if they would like to participate.  Decision made that we will purchase all supplies for the snack bags and offer to the other team to see if they would like to put them together.  We will make all posters.  Discussed possibility of having a working meeting on 1/30 to get everything done before Regionals.

Discusses breakfast before Regionals.  We will do a “grab-n-go” breakfast on 2/2 after practice for the entire team.  Booster Club will provide tacos for main entrée and a sign up will be sent out for parents to bring remaining food items needed.

Future schedule:

Between Regionals and State Competitions…state competitors will practice.

After State, the entire team will take a 2 week break from practice then the following schedule will resume :  A Day: dryland/swim and B Day: water polo (if enough interest)

End of Year Banquet will be held in April.  Date and place are still to be determined.

Winter breakfast sign ups sent out by Amy Vaughn.  Booster club to supplement 3 items.
