1. Financial report.  Swimathon money in.  Current balance $18031.44,

2.  AISD meet this Friday.  Lunch after then will return to school,

McNeil Diver Earns All American Honors!!!

Junior diver, Nicole Bogusch, earned All American status for her one meter springboard performance during our championship season of 2016!  This is an honor bestowed upon only the top 100 divers in the nation for that competitive year.  Congrats to Nicole, her family, and the Maverick community for another recognition of excellence achieved by one of the fantastic students here at McNeil High School.  We are so proud of you Nicole!  Go Mavs!!!

Annoucements & Discussion

1.  Swim a-thon:  Goal is of $ 200 per swimmer,  deadline to turn in money is 10-31.

  Each team member was given a formal letter to provide to businesses for sponsorship.  Please contact coaches if you  are having trouble raising money for suggestions. 

2. Meet Schedule :  Meet specifics can be found under "meet info", such as qualifying times, etc. 

3. Caloric Intake:  Coaches have been discussing the importance of caloric intake and good nutrition to stay healthy and maximize post practice recovery.  "My Fitness Pal "app encouraged for quick reference and logging of actual daily nutrition. 

4.  Grades:  Eligibility criteria discussed. ( Swimmers do not lose eligibilty with interim grades-can only gain it back.)  Please contact Coaches for resources and support in regard to tutoring help.  There are several " NHS swimmers" who  need to fulfill tutoring hours-  it is a "win-win" situation!

McNeil Swimming & Diving Roster 2016-17

Mighty Maverick Nation!!!  It was an honor to have so many fantastic individuals with such impressive talent show up interested in representing McNeil High School in this year's UIL competitive season.

Please understand that the selection process is extremely difficult and is one that is not taken lightly.  Everyone who showed up has obviously spent many years working on their craft of swimming.  If you happened to not have made the roster this year, I recommend you continue to swim with a local year round program and tryout again next year.  Thank you to everyone for their interest in our program and congratulations to the 2016-2017 McNeil Varsity Swimming & Diving Team!!!

Also, please understand that if you have made the above roster that you are agreeing to a commitment of staying in shape and working hard for the next month and a half leading up to the start of school.  Failure to fulfill this commitment could result in you forfeiting your position on the team.

All of the above athletes should be receiving an email about up-coming team business.  If you do not receive an email by the end of the week you should contact Coach Foss at johnny_foss@roundrockisd.org .  Our first practice will not be until after the first day of school, but we have a LOT of business to take care of before the start of school.

·         II.  2016 Banquet  -  Friday, April 1st - Dinner and invitations- Banquet Committee had a meeting following Booster Club Meeting. Hill Country Bible Church NW located at 12124 Ranch Road 620.   Dinner will begin at 6:15 PM and will be catered by Olive Garden.

·         III.  Water Polo - Has started. 19 to 20 Girls and 16 Boys
